Internet Access in Airline Lounges

This is often a hit and miss affair. I would just like to give a huge pat on the back to the QF lounge in Bangkok. I have been here for about 2 hours (those who have been to BKK know that the trip from the city can be anything from 20-120 minutes, mine was 2 minutes over the former) and have been logged on at 48Kbps the whole time.

I use a system called I-Pass and have huge problems elsewhere sometimes. Not here.

You know, combined with the best rice snacks ever and JW Black in copious quantities the only complaint is the lack of a window. Oh well.

I hope you're only cruising the internet with the copious amounts of JW?
Not a good mix when you're reading emails & saying to yourself - "that no-good dirty son of #$%??, I'll show him what for..." lol

Dear Sully,

It sounds nice. I can only suggest you also try one of the Thai lounges at BKK. They also have exceedingly good nibblies (in my not so humble opinion) and the drinks selection I think would suit most tastes.

And I can imagine who redrat might be referring to.

Bye for now,
clifford.

I just did the broadband at QP SYD & although $9 for 35mins is a bit steep it still walks right over dialup.
I logged on as a casual user & had Telstra SMS a temp logon number. 8)
