From my FF records and the other flights I remember, I did around 150* flights in 2005.

Absolutely crazy when you think about it!

I did over 110000 * actual miles. Most of my flights were domestic with several international ones in there as well.

The airlines I flew on this year were:

JAL
Cathay Pacific
Lan Chile
Qantas [including QantasLink and Qantas NZ]
Virgin Blue
OzJet
Malaysian Airlines
FinnAir
British Airways

* Revised due to flaw in my use of FF records.

I had a quiet year with only 20 flights. 18 on QF and 2 on SQ.

If even half of what I know about this year comes off, could be a big year for me. But then, sometimes a directive will come down from up high to cut back travel, and it all stops for a few months.

I will post more details soon, but in 2005 I did 97 flights in total. (92 on QF, 5 on CX, 88 paid & 9 Award).

thadocta, does this mean you have a PPL? If so, do you fly out of BKK and with which organisation do you hire? (sorry to get off topic)

My records say 32 - but I may have missed a couple taken on airlines I don't belong to in the US.

Had a look at my activity statement and I did 35 flights with separate flight numbers. The breakdown was 31 Qantas, 2 Finnair, 1 British Airways and 1 Air France - 28 domestic and 7 overseas.

The flights included three CBR-SYD-PQQ flights that I would have preferred never to have made, with the serious illness and passing of two close relatives

According to my records I returned safely to earth 26 times last calendar year, all in the hands of QF.

This is following a pattern of purposeful flight reduction over the last five years as my wife and family have upgraded me from "lodger" status at home to "regular garden maintenance". :P
