I have never used Hotelclub.com.au, but they have some signup offers for those flying some airlines that get you $50 off your first hotel booking. I guess you can pick which airline you want to sign up under !

I have booked with them before - we get a discount through work but it's normally only a few dollars per night. I thought they were fine up until last year when two of our bookings in South America were screwed up - coincidentally they were the only two made through hotelclub. The $50 discount will make me use them again but I wouldn't use them for stays in "exotic" countries.

It would have been nice to get $50 off the next hotel booking but unfortunately I am already a member as I used HotelClub to book a hotel room in Europe last year.

I've been a member for years and have been credited US$50 to be used before 15 May. They now have tiered membership and I'm apparently now a gold member.

I've used hotelclub quite a bit over the last few years and like StevePER, my only 'glitch' has been in Sth America. I don't think it was hotelclub's fault though. I think the hotel pulled a swifty. We arrived at the reception desk in Buenos Aires to be informed that we'd been "upgraded' and would be staying in another hotel around the corner. The hotel they moved us to certainly didn't meet the 4.5 star standard I thought I'd booked.

Got the $50 coupon offer and immediately used it for a stay in TPA in a couple of months time.

Don't give up and make sure you are a member and receive regular updates from Hotel Club or Dream Club.

Back in November/December I received an email from Dream Club/Hotel Club with another US$50 voucher for being a loyal customer and a couple of weeks ago received another email from Dream Club/Hotel Club with the promotion 2009 Specials Extended with $20 Voucher Giveaway‏.
