Did anyone else get this from Qantas?

As part of a select group of Frequent Flyers, Qantas is now offering you the opportunity to earn double points on Qantas and QantasLink domestic flights*.

All you need to do is fly within our special bonus period -
23 November 2006 to 28 February 2007 - and watch your Frequent Flyer points take off. For example with double points you could earn:
Brisbane to Perth: 8,976 points Sydney to Hobart: 4,000 points Adelaide to Melbourne: 4,000 points Darwin to Sydney: 7,840 points The above points examples are based on Economy return flights.

I wonder if existing bookings (that are for during that period) will also qualify? It suggests it does..

Bugger! I can't complain.. I've got PER - MEL next week, and PER - SYD a few weeks later.. so a nice suprise!

Nothing received here. Perhaps QF has noted my lack of SCs and flights posting to AA. Although they did not target me for the double points, double SC promotion they ran several year ago.

A poster on FT has mentioned that only PS and NB are eligible for this. (I guess WP's have to deal with true double points on any flight over 500 miles)

Not easy to get (even a small part of) WP bonus in NZ

Remember the promotion that QF had in 2001-2002. Double points and double SCs. I was QC bronze then and made it to WP by March 2002 (having only joined QF when AN crashed in Sept 2001). Are there double SCs this time. I certainly haven't been targetted. Good markeing ploy to get those with a sniff of SG or WP to fly over the holiday period.

Just checked the program news and FF specials on the QF website. Nothing there for members at large. So it must be targetted.
