I think we'll stop at 2...unless Mrs LW has other ideas
Time flies! The gap timing is nice - although unintended our oldest was 3.5 when our most recent additions arrived - and thank goodness as she was much more self sufficient - had she been younger I think it would have been all too much.
We too had the "let's go for 2 with an option for a third"......problem solved with twins - we're sooooooo done! In fact mrs alect asked the OB to tie her tubes - and he said they don't do it for at least a year after delivery.
As others here will testify just about every woman says "never again..." and then the hormones kick in and apparently they make them forget about the whole experience and lo and behold they're all of a sudden ready again

Such a chore.....

It took Mrs NM nearly 8 years to convince me to consent to #4 .
Mrs IainF and I agreed that children were not for us a few years ago, so when I was going in for a routine hernia op, we convinced the Surgeon (an old friend of my family) that he should dig just a little further with the scalpel and solve that issue once and for all......
As I was in pain for the hernia repair, then a bit more would make no difference what so ever, especially as I had access to a bit of morphine for a couple of days.
I must say that that Lindsay's daughter Charlotte is an angel, and probably the only child I would have ever wanted.... She barely peeps and always has a big smile on her face when I see her.
I know Lindsay and Vicky are great parents and could probably manage a dozen kids...

Knowing IainF well, his story about his situation is exact. Given their wonderful lifestyle and both travelling, he can instead be an "uncle" to Charlotte.

You'd not want to have been in my household last night between 7.30pm and 11.30pm, when I had both of them throwing up . Trying to explain to a 17 month old that it's normal to projectile vomit her dinner and milk over herself, me, her bedclothes (x3) . Just horrible to see her retching and not being able to do anything than hold her standing at the toilet bowl...and not gettign any help from her mother as she was doing the same thing at the same time Looks like Vicky has Gastroenteritis, she's still not well today but Charlotte is back to he normal self. Hear it's going around BNE at present, so not unexpected.

Woah there tiger, 2 or 3 will suffice . Hold that thought - it's our 5th wedding anniversary on Sat and my birthday on Sun
