UK bobbies to recover security costs from Airport Operators?
From October, Qantas Club members and guests in Sydney (T3) and Melbourne domestic lounges can enjoy complimentary barista coffee from the Santos Coffee Bar between 6am - 9.30am, Monday to Friday until mid December. This is in addition to the self-service facilities.
As a coffee addict, this is good to see. I guess QF is playing a bit of catch up because DJ's Lounge already has barista-made coffee, but it's available all day.

Last week, I arrived at the coffee stand at the QP at Syd T3, just before 930am, and got a great coffee I asked how many coffees they had made that morning, and I was informed about 300...so that's one coffee every 1.5 minutes
I'm a QF and DJ lounge lizard, and the new coffee in QF Club is great - tastes quite a bit better than DJ's I have to say!
Now all they have to do is make it available all day.

I wish it were available all day. The chances of me being at either MEL or SYD at that time of day are remote at best. I have seen the stand at both airports in the last few weeks, but during the afternoon.

And Virgin Blue needs to get real coffee on board. Instant just doesn't cut it.
