Diners Card does this but there is a 4% fee for doing it. - Is it worth it ? in the old days when you got 1.5 points and you were aiming for a 1st class ticket then maybe.

Many cards accrue points on payment, not spending. This means that you can pay your card well into credit (i.e. pay much more than you owe), receive points for the whole amount, and then use the card during your travels in the knowledge that you have plenty of extra credit sitting on it. Check with your card provider whether they allocate new points on expenditure or payment.

I would not recommend putting your credit card into credit.

Why? In the event on any fraud on your account whilst it is in credit, you will risk losing those funds for the sake of trying to get a few more ff points.

No one gets ff points for cash advances. They are normally excluded.

cash advances?

Have you considered doing foreign currency exchanges with Travelex?

They will give you one FF point per dollar exchanged. Of course, they will charge a fee...... not sure how much.

regards.....
