Which airlines’ Economy seat do you prefer & why (domestic 737)?

So, I was thinking about the seat differences between 737s on the two main domestic airlines that fly 737s, and thought I’d do a poll.

(Excluding exit, bulk head, DJ red, QF J and QF first Y rows.)

All other things equal, please select the aspect of seat type which you like the best?

QF Cloth
QF Adjustable Head rest.

I often find leather too "sweaty" - YMMV.

Certainly, I like to raise the headrest.

The physical appearance of the seat is not that important to me. Obviously I would prefer extra legroom but that is not always possible with either carrier....

I like the headrest wings with Qantas. Help me sleep and prevent me from sliding onto the shoulder of the pax next to me.

Actually, not a big fan of 737's at all. Much prefer twin aisle planes.

Leather on aircraft seats is a big turn off for me.

I saw that multi answer check box when I created the poll, but I thought that would allow people to say - yes I like leg room, padding, adjustable head rests, ptvs... which wouldn't really reveal anything interesting, just that people like all the mod-cons/comforts.

For me DJ is the carrier of choice... Basically it comes down to value for money for me. Yes, as I've said before countless times - I would love to fly QF bu unfortunately when I am on a fixed contract and the less i can spend the more money I can make. Note this will not make me find JQ the carrier of choice - I do have some sort of self worth! As far as I'm concerned they are all pretty much the same - I don't think im going to notice 1/2 an inch over 2 hrs anyway. So for me it comes down to distraction. If i can finally clear my email backlog and listen to some Foxtel channels whilst doing it then to me its worth the $4.90 that i pay for it.

As for the eye-candy on DJ - well lets just say that i can put up with it!

Having said that if i got a few more coins each trip then i would rather put up with QF's servants...

QF Cloth - why? it's an easy choice...

I get my seat choice and allocation
I get a paper in the morning and beer at night ( )
I get frequent OP UP's
I can get ODU's

most important...

Not a fan of leather seats either for reasons already cited.

Other than that, not that much difference between the different QF seats in whY.

Like Mal I avoid 737 (& A320's) where possible. Leather is neither here nor there for me.
