Me too-last couple of trips I've flown are mainly 737's.
I find Virgin's seats to be quite nice and comfortable, though Qantas and its fabric seats aren't too baid either.

That's because it's probably in harmony with the window shades. Amazing how many bits of BP's are living up there, giving up their life to wedge open shades.
