Quite well it went, I think.

Arrived 6:35, & IanF were already there; Mwenezi about ¼ hour later. admin (AKA Clifford) arrived shortly after 7pm and we were able to get a brief rundown on the history of AFF.

Lindsay employed his mobile to contact a couple of the most regular posters here.

tuapekastar arrived just after 8pm, 10 mins before I left the happy crew to their discussions about travel, mile/points, being comped status etc., to catch my railed chariot home.

Nothing gory while I was there! All very civilized discussion on various topics of relevance to AFF. Someone else will need to report on anything that happened before I got there. Finished up around 2100 (Lindsay and IainF could wait no longer to eat, and I can't say I blame them. Nice to meet admin and a few AFFers.

At least one post was deleted from that thread before it was locked. The captain is quick to ensure that everyone returns to their seats very promptly in the event of turbulence.
