Many will have wondered whether I had dropped off the face of the earth, but in reality I have had to many things pressing for my time over the past 3 months, so AFF has taken a back seat

I'd like to thank :

my industry for making so many changes
my clients for embracing those changes and needing so much of my help
my house for finally accepting it needed to be sold
our new house for being there at the right time saying "buy me"
my understanding financier and Solicitor ,and finally,
Mrs LW for falling pregnant (17 weeks, due 28/03/07)

I'm exhausted and look forward to normality until April, when my life is surely going to never be the same

As we have moved into our new house already (McDowall), who's for the first AFF housewarming in Qld?? Mrs LW and her mother are off to LST on Fri 20th and travelling arounf Tasmania for 9 days, so I have the new place all to myself (well, apart from babysitting our 2 dogs).

So, I need to confirm attendees so I can feed you (and tell me if you have any aversions to food, but steaks, sausages, salads etc would be menu). It will be BYO drinks though (my bar was depleted before the move).

Plans are for a Saturday 21st October BBQ lunch at 1pm, as well as now a Sunday matinee at midday.

Add me as a "Pop-In" on Sunday also. Probably around 5:30. But Won't stay long and will likely have some of the Minis with me as we pass through. Will be collecting some contraband from the multi-star dsn.

My leave pass is arranged and approved for Saturday afternoon. But will need to depart early as the ladies in my life have planned an evening at the Qld Ballet so we have a boys night planned at home .

You are correct... life will never be the same after April. But it's a great adventure.

It would be great to meet you and the other AFF members who are attending but at this late stage I doubt I can make it from SYD.

Lindsay - you must have the biggest pair of "brass ones" in the world. Does Mrs Lindsay know that you've invited an entire web-site to your place on the weekend for a BBQ. I know you haven't posted your address, but still a ballsy call. Unfortunately I'm arriving in BrisVegas from Adelaide at 0900 on Monday morning so can't accept your kind offer. I would have enjoyed meeting up with some of the names that I see regularly on the site.

I am sure the charming mrs QF WP is quite aware of these goings on.

Otherwise known as Vicki, she did quite a nice job co-hosting OzFest III with Lindsay in May this year.
