serfty is indeed quite correct, Ikara. Vicky is well aware that a couple of people will be around on the weekend - she welcomes the fact that I'm getting together with them (all who are coming she has met and most I have known for years through Flyertalk and met up with regularly). Considering that I have been doing most of the moving between houses as she is unable to lift anything more than her puppy, she knows I need some relaxation time (when at the same time, she is dow in Tassie on hols).

Already we plan to take the mini-W (at the tender age of 7 weeks) to MEL for ozfest IV. Vicky loved the ozfest III festivities and being able to meet the real people behind the handles that I have been mentioning.

As a new first time father (little Shano-ette is 5 months old) it is definitely a life changing event....and definitely for the better

Thanks to all who have expressed their congratulations and hints about what is to befall us. Sometimes we look at one another and wonder "just what have we got ourselves in for??". With no instruction manuals to decifer the moods, sounds and faces; we'll be winging it like most first time parents.

If I had the time, I'd start a blog...but I know I won't be able to.
