Re: AFF Gathers: In Melbourne!! [1-3 August 2008]

At this stage, I'll be Sat dinner + all events after (even though I land in MEL on Friday); I have a bit of work to do when I arrive, now...

Can I also just say, I can't believe it's August already

What name will the booking be in?

Do I just show my QC card for access?

EDIT: Woops, just noticed the info re: heading upstairs!

Re: AFF Gathers: In Melbourne!! [1-3 August 2008]

I will be at Friday drinks (perhaps arriving a little late - I have a bit of a hike to return to Melbourne).

As previously advised I'm unable to make Saturday dinner .

dot, I know it's past acceptance time for lunch - if it's possible for me to attend I will do Eureka and Saturday lunch. If it's too late to be included (and my fault entirely if it is) I will give Saturday a miss completely.

And I should be in for everything Sunday (definitely the footy).

Thanks

Yep. Failing which, the booking is also made under "Keith."

Looks like I'll have to just bring the small foldaway one...

I've checked in a golf umbrella before. Was quite funny to see it spinning around the carousel with it's "J" tag. Made it home in one piece, and didn't see any baggage handlers using it for rain protection (it was a bit rainy that afternoon).

As we both arrive in MEL around the same time, let me know if you want to meet up. I'll be catching the Skybus, but as we're in different hotels and with planes possibly late not sure if there's any value there. Let me know. Otherwise I'll catch up with you on Sat.

Havn't decided whether I'm going straight from the airport to my hotel or loitering in the QP for a while and catching up with a few things.
