Mastercard/Visa recommendations

I'm looking around for a new Visa or Mastercard. Which branded Visa or MC do people recommend to accrue QF frequent flyer points? I always pay off the card at the end of the month. Already have an Amex charge card, but need an alternative for when this is not accepted by a merchant.

Cheers

Read here:

Pay particular note of Citibank Free for life (earn rate one).

You might also want to get one of the free fora year Amex's 1.5 maximiser, 1.25 qantas premium)...and watch out for the sign on deals.

Thanks... I should've looked harder at the forums. If it's any excuse, I just flew in this morning from SIN in Y.

The free Citibank Gold isn't too bad.

Out of the other paid for cards, perhaps the Commbank Plat might be the better option.

(I did mention the Macquarie Plat which is a good card, but they havn't enabled FF transfers yet)
