Re: Citibank halving exchange rates when converting to QFF

I also could find no reference to the exchange rate change. I noted that the last Reward terms and conditions booklet was sent to me in August 2007 and did not mention this change.

I have written to the Citibank Quality Director complaining about the retrospective devaluation of points already accumulated.

I recall that when NAB tried to do this a few years ago, the ACCC heavied them and they ended up grandfathering the 1:1 ratio for existing points. I may approach the ACCC if my letter to Citibank achieves nothing.

I was under the impression you can transfer in blocks of 10k miles, so 50k miles should be fine.

this 2:1 for silver really surprised me, currently a platinum (and gold free for life) ...just transferred 120k points to qantas, don't want to risk leaving them in there any longer!!
