Re: Virgin Atlantic - SYD-HKG Premium Economy

Good points - not overly used to dual alliance carrier journeys here...

Re: Virgin Atlantic - SYD-HKG Premium Economy

No neither am I Simon, but I find it hard to say no to a good deal.

To be honest, i'd rather for NZ J from HKG-LON which is around the same price as BA Club, but it leaves HKG at 8.45am which is a bit annoying.

On the lounge front, I guess i'll just have to join Priority Pass.

Was going to fly JL J but with their old fleet SYD-NRT I cant seem to justify the extra 1.5k, I would if there were codeshare QF J seats MEL-NRT, but they are few and far between and soon to become extinct.

As a side point seeing as this has degenerated into another OT discussion!

If we had lounge access with DJ would we get it with VA? or do we need to sit a bit further up the cabin?

No lounge access - this is an area I think Velocity need to work on if they are to take more pax from QF.
