I was able to book one at about 9pm last night - they did stress only limted seats available until sold out - damn they must have sold 'em fast!

No, definitely some still available. I'm looking at departing Wed 15th, returning Weds 22nd which prices out at $776 inc.

Damn! 2 adults and 2 kids for a week in LA prices out at $2787 - the bargain of the year - and SWMBO says no.

Just like i was looking at SIM-MEL-SIN flights at SGD $404 and that was less than i paid MEL-SYD-MEL the other day ! Crazy cheap prices, my advice to people is if you want them snap them up now, i really don't believe they can go any lower, no matter how bad things are they already have to be making a loss i would think so can't see any of them wanting to make more of a loss just to pickup some market share.
Then again Delta has yet to start !
