Thanks to the efforts of Qantas and Virgin, I was recently able to buy a ticket on UA (May-July) for LAX-SFO-SYD-SFO-LAX for AUD 1200 all in.

I thought the Qantas sale was to suite the V start up month, just to ensure the flag was still there for V execs to see.
