Re: V-Australia International Sale(s)

V Australia > Best Fares should be the link.

$1234 for a return BNE-LAX is a great steal, but not quite as good at the US$380 fares that QF were offering on the A380.

Also smart of them to release fares on the 4th of July.

Re: V-Australia International Sale(s)

Timetable is up:

VA7 BNE-LAX 10:50-07:00 13h10m - Sat, Mon, Wed
VA8 LAX-BNE 22:30-05:40+2 14h10m - Sun, Tue, Fri

Is it just me or is 77W quicker than the usual QF flights?

Wonder what happened to VA3-VA6?

Interesting days of the week. Its obviously not just a BNE-LAX-BNE turnaround. As Saturday departure from BNE will arrive on Saturday at LAX. So the aircraft just return from LAX to SYD on Saturday evening. Same for a LAX departure on Sunday evening will arrive into BNE on Tuesday morning, but no Tuesday departure for LAX, so I assume it will need a reposition flight to SYD after arriving into BNE. I wonder if that will be sold or just a ferry flight?

This is good - network pricing. Usually on both VA & QF the cost of getting to the international departure port is added to your fare.
