QF are at it again for the silly season with Sin-Per return in J for SGD$1500 which equates to $1200 AUD, pity the 7 day minimum stay otherwise I would be considering a status run! Other options are also available to Syd/Mel and BNE as well as Frankfurt although they must be booked this week. Would do it if they let you start in OZ but that seems not to be the case.

Depending on the fare rules (I suppose valid 12 months), you could use it as a positioning flight for a intra-Asia run...AY, CX etc.

I was interested (as I'm going across to PER in Jsn), until I read the min 7 days. I was thinking the same thoughts....MR :wink:

You could use this with another paid or award ticket to get 2 cheap runs to Singapore, with stopover in Australia in between.

From Singapore easy & cheap to do other runs intra-asia if needed even more miles/SCs.

If you were an east-coater, could also nest this J ticket with say, a xxx/SIN/xxx (where xxx is either SYD or MEL) on BA in WT+...Two trips, with both having one way in J and the other in WT+.

Your outbound xxx/SIN would simply need to match up with the date requirements of the outbound SIN/PER.

You could even nest a PER/xxx and a xxx/PER if you wanted two separate trips

Had I more free time in my upcoming trip to PER, needed the SC's for re-qual and not already booked KGI and BME trips, I'd be seriously considering this as a great deal.

If anybody needs a TA in SIN to ticket, I've got a friend in QF Res SIN.

Thanks for posting the rules. Now to see if it fits into my jigsaw of a schedule.

(Shame it wasnt for one of the other australian cities - SIN-PER in business is only 1.25 PPS sectors each way whereas the others are 2.5, and AKL is 3.75.)
