Jetstar's Price Increase for * Class

hi all,

I was looking today at booking my usual MEL-BKK-MEL flight in * Class with JQ and noticed that the price has increased. To put it into perspective my last * Class flight was in June this year (have done 3 QF metal since as customer allowed us to travel J and Skybed is better than * Class by a mile and then some...) and the price in June for a return trip was $1998. To my amazement the price today for the return flight is $2368. This represents about a 15.5% increase in the price, quite substantial. Now I don't pay for my travel as all company funded but i am thinking this price increase might bite for some. I am thinking those who ask for ODU for cash will also be hit soon with an increase, if not already occurred..

Re: Jetstar's Price Increase for * Class

No different to recent domestic *Class airfare increases. If people continue to pile into the *Class cabin, whether on full *Class fare or ODU, then Jetstar is going to think it is on a winner and airfares will increase....
