Re: Jetstar's' Great Aussie Getaway Sale

Yes, it's a good sale. Just booked SYD-HNL in Aug for $400. Then purchased a HNL-LAX ticket on Expedia for AUD 229. Not bad for a OW SYD-LAX.

I'll be flying back to DPS C class on TG (award ticket) total cost AUD 51.20 (round trip).

Re: Jetstar's' Great Aussie Getaway Sale

How about a new title Taxes and charges up by $33 dollars per trip.
This is a sale , where some prices were 10% cheaper the night before!

I did a SGN to SYD seach the night before and all up was $298.
The a sale comes along and it is $329 odd - same price, but the 'taxes and whatnot' have been hiked by 12% - who knows, maybe to pay for the defence of execs named in the paper.

Compared to the 0.2 on bank loans - almost make banks look respectable by comparison.
