You have got to be joking. I thought that people across Mel and Syd would be snapping them up.
So are there still return tickets from Mel or Syd to LHR for approx AU$900 each?
Regards
Daniel

Yep... Checked around 5pm. Was told that tickets still existed.
The date range available was only up till early Dec. I believe Dec 2. Doesn't suit my travel needs.
The phones were seriously flogged this morning! I would have thought the tickets would have been sold too !!
I didn't ask any more details. Would be interested in the class of travel.

The number of tickets available will be calculated in a similar way (ie: 20 tickets for every Warney wicket). Bookings available from next Tuesday.
I don't have the paper to verify the info, nor could I find any reference on the VS web site. But this type of promotion is what I would expect from VS.

Yes, 40 wickets in a 5-test series is very impressive. Congratulations Eggland, you played the game the way the Aussies have for the past decade.

Did anyone take up this offer?
If so, just out of interest, what was the booking class? Earning status credits and qff points?

Colleague of mine flew out yesterday from MEL to LHR on this deal.
All up including taxes the fare was about $1300.
I can't remember the exact booking class however I did check it for him and it does accrue points and SC's so not a bad earner for him.

Sounds like a pretty good deal for this time of the year.
Good luck to him.

It was a pretty good deal, but as I posted earlier it was too restrictive for my needs.
Suprising that there were still seats available late in the picture. Originally I tried calling about 9am or so and the lines were flooded.
Gave up, came home from work and tried again. Yep seats still available.
