Missed again although BNE was not included. I will be looking to book BNE-CNS flights for Ozfest and it will more than likely be on DJ, as I would already have QF Platinum status sewn up, and the lowest airfare I have seen on QF is $139 each way.

Would $85 each way be considered reasonable for BNE-CNS? Am I likely to find better? Not happy that I will have to pay an extra $8 each way to check luggage.

For such a short trip though, would you really need checked luggage? Only if you were taking your golf clubs I would have thought...

I don't need to have checked luggage but most times I carry medicines, bottle/can openers, nail clippers, small scissors, razor blades for shaving etc I don't like going through the question, answer and confiscation mode from security. Much easier to check luggage and not worry about it.
