Having just received an e-mail from QF, I noticed they now make prominent:

Benefits of flying with Qantas...
Minimum earn of 1,000 Frequent Flyer points*
Inflight entertainment#
Inflight snack and refreshments
Minimum 1 checked bag included^+

(...except vwhen travelling on a codeshare on JQ metal of course...)

I believe if you travelling on a Qantas codeshare you do get that one 20Kg bag (& 7Kg carry-on).

Thanks, Serfty, and I guess that could be useful for some!

(Personally, I always travel light - I managed my last trip with one carry on bag for a 5 week excursion - and that one bag had the laptop as well - fortunately no formal work clothing required!).
