I would have thought it could cope better than that. I have managed to make a few bookings very close to the deadline and I have not missed out yet. But my sample size is small compared to some people here....

I'm waiting for the "restore customer confidence in Qantas sale". Should only be a few weeks away based on the hammering they've received in the last few days
Not that great, really. Just booked DJ PER-MEL in Feb 09 for $149.
PER has come down from the $219 it has been in recent sales. During sales DJ to PER generally is this much cheaper. During non-sales they are much closer together (DJ discounts more!)
