One "deal" they are offering is not that great.,
Albury to Melbourne (Via Sydney of course) $236.00.
Albury to Sydney $75.00,Sydney to Melbourne $85.00
Albury to Melbourne using two single sectors $160.00.a saving of
$76.00.or I could go direct from ABX to MEL on Rex for $106.00
Presumably ABX-SYD-MEL-SYD-ABX would earn me 4000 points and 40 status credits for $320.00? whereas ABX-MEL and MEL-ABX would only earn 2000 and 20 SC's for $472.00?
Am I correct or have I stuffed up somewhere.

It's not actually part of the sale, but I just tried the booking engine and can find red-e-deals pricing at $157 each way.

Yeah it is better if looking for cheap status (like I am), but gets slightly boring. Spending a bit extra ($146) on MEL-xBNE-CNS might be worth it for the variety and to get back to the town I grew up in for a few hours.
