My experience would be a rare one, I'd hazard a guess there was a massive meltdown at exactly 8pm
Sounds like you must have been quite desperate to get to PQQ.

Personally, I wasn't in the least bit interested. More of a gigantic hassle than anything else, on a cr*p airline.

And your FF points haul would have been quite modest.

Desperate to a degree; with 2 kids and wife to boot, more dollars going into the mortgage than last year, a $275 in total, 2 night break with kids inc airfare and accom vs a normal special deal coming in closer to $730 for the same thing is something I'll pull out a few stops for.
