Being the ever cynical person..... is it also just a coincidence that these 'specials' seem to be happening quite regular at the moment and just so happens to be around the time that fuel prices have dropped somewhat

Note that Qantas have an ongoing 'sale' for major domestic routes - MEL/SYD $125 rather than $138; BNE/MEL $169 rather than $179.

For travel thru to End of December; sale 'till end of September.

Sneaky really... rather than drop the fare price, just put it 'on sale' so it can go back up again shortly
