I think there should be more mulligans for those with higher status as we are away so much we don't get to play enough
You won't need mulligans in an ambrose event as both players get to play each shot and you then pick the best shot and you both play a shot from that position and this continues until the ball is in the hole.
You just need to hope that you are paired with Lindsay or serfty who are experienced golfers.

If only it were that simple JohnK! I've played many a shot from a crappy position like a bunker in a 4 man Ambrose! You still need 1 good shot out of 4 and in the groups I have played in this has sometimes been a bit of a challenge!
BTW - Great idea this social golf one. Hopefully it will get some more interest as it gets closer.

Golf is never easy. But it can be a lot of fun with plenty to talk about after a game of golf. If only I didn't hit that tree, or if that ball didn't go in the water.... We will try to pair up based on their golfing abilities so that everyone has a reasonable chance of scoring well.

We now have 5 confirmed, a maybe, a possible (you) and hopefully a few more will register interest before the event. We need some more AFF Brisbanites to attend.
