the NAB Amex ANT card is the best deal out there at the moment - 2 points per A$1. Includes comprehensive international travel insurance. $148 p.a. The offer of 2 points per A$1 is valid until june or july 05.

the amex rewards maximiser 1.5 points per A$1 does not include travel insurance and is $144 p.a. annual fee waived for the first year - www.americanexpress.com.au/1styearfree or something www.americanexpress.com.au/1styrfree

I don't pay an annual fee for my RACQ Gold Amex CC. Just pay the Membership Rewards annual fee. AMEX waived the first year's fee, and then waive the subsequent year's fees so long as I put A$9500 through the card - no problem there. But still only 1.5 points per A$.

nm, you only earn 1 point per $1 with the RACQ card, plus you'll need to be an RACQ member to first get it. The 1.5 pts only apply for the first 6 mths you have the card.

Re: QANTAS ANZ GOLD VISA CARD SUBSTITUTE CARD ????????

I have Qantas Amex but am finding that trader fees must have gone up or similar as many traders will not accept the card or want to put a 3% surcharge on top of my purchase to cover their costs. I am looking toward a FF Visa. Does anyone have a link to a comparison of card features that might be usefull?

Welcome to AFF uggubuggu,

Here is a link that may be helpful: Frequent Flyer Credit Cards

Other than that there is plenty of advice here in the Credit Card Loyalty Programs Forum.
