    Using CC on AA

    Hi

I am trying to book a multi city ticket:

    LGA-PTY 14 June
    SJO-JFK 23 June

    Cost $283USD on AA

The wesbite says you can use your Visa or Mastercard as long as you have a US billing address.

My question (as call centre closed today) can I use my Aus Visa card and use my cosuins USA address as the billing address ?

If not can I take my booking number to FlightCenter and buy it through them ?

Try pricing it out on the Australian AA site first:

American Airlines | Airline Tickets and Airline Reservations

If the prices don't add up, then think about other methods.

Really I don't believe you can use your cousin's address due to it requiring to be your billing address for the card.

There are other threads here about the topic.

thanks but it comes up as $66 more on the Aust site.

Maybe I should use Orbit or Priceline ?

Maybe. I think a hold on AA tickets lasts about 24 hours, so you could book, then call AA Australia tomorrow.

Your cousin's address may work and pass the required validation, but usually I've found that the AA (US) site is more finicky about that sort of stuff than the AA (UK) site.

Been a while since I've had to book AA tix online though, so things may have changed.
