I've heard that F on AA's 767-200 aircraft is quite good on some of the transcontinental flights (mainly LAX/SFO to JFK).
Anyone had any experiences?

agree with NM! very comfortable seats however other than that there is really nothing else that stands out!
I would suggest that the ice cream sundae may be considered the other outstanding part of the AA Flagship experience.Originally Posted by tscharke

I agree! The sundae defined First class travel for me long before I ever had the chance to fly up that end of the plane - it was the Seinfeld episode where Jerry sat next to the supermodel in First and was served an ice cream sundae that turned me...Originally Posted by NM
I've since flown LAX-JFK a few times in AA F on the 767, and whilst they aren't lie-flat beds it's not really a sleeping flight anyway in my mind. The last flight was about 12 months ago and they didn't have AVOD on the flight, so we were all issued with personal DVD players and a folder of movie DVDs as a substitute.
More recently I've been organising my travel so I can pick up the Qantas 747-400 flying LAX-JFK which has a much nicer F cabin, so I can't comment on whether the AA 767-200 has changed in the last 12 months or so.
damn it! i was just in F from ORD-LAX and was unaware of the legendary sundae......Originally Posted by NM
a word of warning too - watch out if you have your laptop setup on the front tray table while tilting the seat!!! The seat goes up before it goes down....conveniently pinning your legs in between and sending your ext HDD sprawling down the aisle![]()

Is SFO-JFK a flagship service, therefore with Sundae?
At the moment system shows a 767-300 for my trip in August and seated in Row 2 [which is first row of aircraft].
