I'm flying into T2 and then taking a BA flight from T1. I would like to try out the JAL Flounge and Qantas lounge.
The shuttle between terminals runs continously in either direction, so getting between terminals is easy.

You should be able to access any OW lounge assuming you have status.

I would not waste my time in the QF lounge, just stick with the JAL F lounge.

Thanks, I shall try the JAL F then.

How about the BA Terraces at NRT? Any good?

Not sure. It is not a major hub for BA, so I would assume fairly standard.

If you check it out, it would be interesting to know just the same.

I shall try and do a bit of a lounge-crawl and see which one's best, and post here.

Re: Tokyo (Narita) OneWorld Lounges

I have something to report. According to the BA website, there should be a Terraces lounge at NRT (British Airways - Lounge locations) however, in fact they are currently using the NWA lounge. I am not sure if this is a temporary arrangement or permanent.

Anyway, NWA lounge is quiet, quite pleasant and spacious lounge but their food does not come close to the BA Terraces at LHR (certainly not the First lounge). Still, the space is good - I find BA LHR lounge can be a little too crowded, so I cannot knock the space at NWA lounge at Narita too much. Plenty of workstations (to those of you that love Macs, they are ALL Macs). There are also power and Ethernet ports by the window where you can use your own computer to connect to the Internet. You look out onto the tarmac from the windows - it appears to look onto the cargo area.

One thing I would like to mention is that the receptionists did not recognise the status from my BA boarding pass (which did state Emerald) and I had to get my card (QF FF) out to show them the OW Emerald symbol. So I would like to remind you to bring the FF Card with you if you are planning on using this lounge.

I arrived at Narita T2 (international) but I was unable to figure out whether it would be quite safe to spend some time at T2 and then attempt to get to T1 because the transfer bus on the airside did not seem to be too regularly run where I got off the inbound aircraft. So I did not manage to check out the QF lounge or JL lounge.

I do wish that all the OneWorld carriers used the same terminal so that I could lounge crawl to find the best one. BA seems to be the only OW carrier that uses T1, so I missed out on all other lounges. But never mind, I'm not complaining - I found NWA lounge to be quite OK.

Re: Tokyo (Narita) OneWorld Lounges

Well after all of my "gloating" about the F lounge I have to repotr that I actually spent most of my time in the QF lounge

Although the booze is better in the JL lounge (actual champagne rather than Oz fizz and no Rosemount chardonnay in the F lounge) - the food in the F lounge was fairly hard core Japanese and not even any sushi.

As I was departing on QF and would have to move anyway I headed to the QF lounge after a quick call home and a couple of bubbles

Re: Tokyo (Narita) OneWorld Lounges

I fle NRT to SYD on QF22 in December. The new Qantas Lounge in Terminal 2 was great. Flight departed late at night, so my wife and I were able to shower in the club prior to barding. There was plenty of food, space and good wifi coverage.
