The date of AFF's inaugural golf challenge will be the 5/6 August. It will be held in BNE most likely in Victoria Park or Nudgee golf courses depending on availability. Hopefully this can become a yearly event. We can look at alternate cities in coming years if the event is successful.

The golf game will take place on Sunday 6th August to allow interstate AFF members time to get to BNE and relax before game of golf.

The format will be an ambrose format where it gives people that do not play that often a chance to win by being paired with someone that has played golf before. I will take care of pairings if people can indicate to me what their golfing ability is like. Details can be explained in relevant posts but if you are curious just google "ambrose" and you will find many explanations.

The people that have shown interest so far are myself, serfty, Lindsay Wilson, NM, straitman, MetroAir, cabbage74, kiwi flyer. Please indicate with a post on this thread whether you will be interested in attending so that we can organise bookings at the relevant golf course. It would be nice if admin (Clifford) could join us for this event but i understand that he is very busy.
