Emirates Business Class Seats
Family in the UK have gotten themselves into an excited state: Emirates are apparently offering business class fares from the UK to Sydney for about GBP 1,400 per person, so long as two of you are travelling.
Can anyone tell me about the seats in business class on Emirates. A quick look at their website found that they did NOT advertise either a flat bed or a level bed. Can you advise:
1. Are the seats flat ?
2. Are the seats level ?
3. Or are they more like the old-style reclining business class seats that are neither flat nor level, but simply a big reclining chair ?
I suspect (from reading their website) that their seats are somewhat better than number 3 above but that they are not flat (like QF). Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
On a second issue - I understand that they are also offereing first class seats if you pay an additional GBP 700 on top of the price above. Can anyone answer the same questions as above for first class ? Once again, their website does not appear to be heavily promoting beds or flat beds.
