Anyhoo, in Singapore, The Spending Machine and I lodge at the Naumi Hotel. 40 rooms, all decorated in what I'd describe as "contemporary, pan-Asian" style. It's in the CBD, and they'll send a car to pick you up at the airport if you want. They also have a large collection of rare and special Whisky in the bar...
