Re: PER-SIN and back on Tiger

I haven't flown EasyJet, so I'm not sure how good/bad they are, but I guess in my mind, I don't even really see it as discomfort. More like I've choosen to buy the plain muffin, rather than the one with choc chips and sprinkles on it, so that I can spend that money on something I want more later on. Like nice accomodation or buying drinks at the bar etc.

However, I do think that next time I might consider splashing out the S$25 each sector for an exit row seat. After all, it'll be a little extra comfort and I'll still have ~$560 more in my pocket when I get to Singapore than if I'd flown QF.

I had a bit of a laugh to myself today when I ducked onto Curtin Uni campus and noticed there were flyers around advertising an STA sale. "$330 return to Singapore" then in very, very small print "Plus approx $330 tax and charges".

simongr, I thought given the topic of the forum, I'd mostly stick to my actual flying part of the trip. I don't think everyone wants to hear about what my mates and I got up to in Singapore's amazing nightclubs and bars. But I certainly had a fun time and met a lot of really fun people.
