Great to hear your story SeaWolf. As you said, for the money you saved, it definitely beats QF, particularly if FF points are no big deal for you. It will be interesting to see what effect Tiger have on the Aussie market with connections to either Darwin or Perth? when they start domestic ops. It will certainly make long weekends is Singapore do-able!
At the end of the day, if we expect what we have paid (peanuts) and don't expect Caviar, then it will be an enjoyable experience.
